Dans ses songes où règnent des anges plus ou moins bienveillants, la spirale incandescente de sa solitude se transforme en fracas et brasier d’exaltation. Qui est là pour un dernier tango? Qui du bel amant romantique ou du fantôme à la coupe empoisonnée pourra sauver de ses peines ce coeur désolé?

In a desert ballroom strewn with sand and dust, three musicians are playing tunes from the past. As for Alfonsina, she is on her way to a romantic date, but, as ever and everywhere, the ghost of her late husband is accompanying her. The night falls, the fog thickens, we are slowly entering into the inside world of the young widow. In her dreams, where more or less benevolent angels are reigning, the incandescent spiral of her loneliness turns into roars and a brazier of elation.
Who is there for a last tango? Who, from the romantic lover, or the ghost with the poisoned chalice, will save this desolated heart from her sorrows?

En un salon de baile desierto con un suelo cubierto de arena y de polvo, tres mùsicos tocan melodias de antaño. Alfonsina, ella, va a una cita galante y el fantasma de su difunto marido, como siempre y en todas partes la acompaña. Anochece, la niebla se vuelve espesa, se divisa lentamente el mundo interior de la viuda joven. En sus sueños, donde reinan los àngeles màs o menos benevoloentes, la espiral de la soledad se convierte en desplome y llamarada de excitacion.
